Under Congress rule the Constitution was amended a total of 62 times — 17 times under Nehru, 28 times under Indira Gandhi, 10 times under Rajiv Gandhi, and about 7 times under the Manmohan Singh–Sonia Gandhi government — and Congress has changed the Constitution the most.
