The Tripura Congress posted a highly controversial post against Hindus containing abusive language from its official social media handle, which has since been deleted, and BJP's Amit Malviya has tweeted about it.

“त्रिपुरा कांग्रेस ने एक बेहद विवादित पोस्ट डाला है जिसको डिलीट कर दिया है। कांग्रेस ने किया है हिंदुओं के खिलाफ विवादित पोस्ट। ऐसी गंदी गाली उसमें दी गई है। त्रिपुरा कांग्रेस के ऑफिशियल हैंडल से यह पोस्ट हुआ है”
