The theft at the Ram temple has given Akhilesh Yadav a strong political issue, but he is constrained because he has been told the temple was built by demolishing the Babri Masjid and that visiting it would anger Muslims.

“अयोध्या में भगवान राम के मंदिर में चोरी से अखिलेश को अच्छा खासा इशू मिल गया है। लेकिन उनकी मजबूरी है। उन्हें बताया गया कि यह मंदिर बाबरी मस्जिद को तोड़कर बनाया गया था। इसलिए उन्हें वहां नहीं जाना चाहिए। मुसलमान नाराज हो जाएंगे।”
