Mint Corporation of India staff stayed about one and a half months at the temple for valuation of gold and silver, but Champat Rai sent them away claiming their cost was too high.

“मिंट के लोग करीब डेढ़ महीने मंदिर परिसर में रहे भी... पर चंपत राय को रास नहीं आया। चंपत राय ने कहा कि मिंट के लोगों पर होने वाला खर्चा बहुत ज्यादा है... इसलिए इनके मंदिर परिसर में होने की जरूरत ही नहीं है।”
