Cash worth Rs 1.77 crore was recovered from a locked room of Harnet School in North 24 Parganas — allegedly the illegal money of TMC leader and Kanchrapara municipality chairman Kamal Adhikari — police needed three counting machines, and the school's cashier and assistant accountant were arrested.

“नॉर्थ 24 परगना में हरनेट स्कूल के कमरे से ₹1 करोड़ 77 लाख का कैश बरामद हुआ... इतने नोट थे कि पुलिस को काउंट करने के लिए तीन मशीनें मंगानी पड़ी। इस मामले में स्कूल के कैशियर अभिगनाथ और असिस्टेंट अकाउंटेंट सायन घोष को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।”
