Claim

In the Ram Mandir theft, counting staff allegedly hid bundles of notes, gold and silver coins and jewellery in their clothes, exploited un-frisked bathroom breaks to stash the loot in hiding spots in a bathroom just 50 metres from the counting room, and later retrieved it or smuggled it out through accomplices.

“चढ़ावा गिनने वाले कुछ कर्मचारी गिनती के दौरान नोटों के बंडल, गुप्त दान में आए सोने चांदी के सिक्के और आभूषण चुपके से अपने कपड़े में छिपा लेते थे... जब वो बाथरूम जाने के लिए हॉल से निकलते थे तो बीच में उनकी कोई तलाशी नहीं ली जाती थी... यह बाथरूम इस कमरे से सिर्फ 50 मीटर की दूरी पर था।”
