Under the new scheme rural workers will get 125 days of employment versus 100 days under MGNREGA; the Centre will fund 60% and states 40% of the budget, whereas earlier the Centre paid the entire budget, and an unemployment allowance will be paid if work is not provided within the stipulated time.

“इस योजना के तहत ग्रामीण इलाकों के मजदूरों को 125 दिन का रोजगार मिलेगा। जबकि मनरेगा में 100 दिन का रोजगार उसी का प्रावधान था। इस योजना के कुल बजट का 60% केंद्र सरकार देगी। 40% राज्य सरकार की हिस्सेदारी होगी।”
