Cipla, whose drugs failed quality tests, donated ₹39.2 crore through electoral bonds — ₹37 crore of it to the BJP and about ₹2.2 crore to Congress — and holds a 5% share of India's medicine market; another failing company donated ₹31.5 crore in electoral bonds, all to the BJP.
