The Supreme Court has ruled that homebuyers can seek compensation in consumer court against builders for delays or service deficiencies even after taking possession of a flat, and no arbitration clause can block a buyer from going to court.

“सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि अगर किसी खरीदार ने अपने फ्लैट का कब्जा ले लिया है... तब भी वह बिल्डर की तरफ से होने वाली खामियों के खिलाफ कोर्ट जा सकता है... मध्यस्थता की कोई भी शर्त किसी खरीदार को कोर्ट जाने से नहीं रोक सकती।”
