The Supreme Court has ruled that even after taking possession of a flat, a buyer can approach the consumer commission for compensation against the builder for delays or service deficiencies, and no arbitration clause can block a buyer from going to court.

“सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि अगर किसी खरीदार ने अपने फ्लैट का कब्जा ले लिया है यानी पजेशन ले लिया है तब भी वह बिल्डर की तरफ से होने वाली खामियों के खिलाफ कोर्ट जा सकता है... उपभोक्ता आयोग में मुआवजे की मांग कर सकते हैं।”
